#WaveAtSaturn Part 2
Back in July, I posted about #WaveAtSaturn. On that day, we were given advance warning, for the first time ever, that a spacecraft would be photographing the Earth at a certain time. All over the globe, many people went outside to wave towards Saturn, where the Cassini spacecraft would be. The image from that day is now viewable online, and it's a beauty!

This is a stunning photo! Really gives the perspective of how small our fragile planet is in the grand scheme of the universe.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, isn't it! Nothing like a view of your home from over a billion kilometres away to make things like essays, deadlines and bills seem insignificant! :)
ReplyDeleteVery true... also makes you realise how lucky we are to have such a beautiful planet we live on and the importance of looking after it. :-)
